In this colourful tour, we'll explore the streets of East London's Shoreditch. Using the stories of the art, artists and local area, we'll weave a tapestry of creativity, multi-culturalism and history.
What will we see
During this tour, we will see amazing murals and artworks by various artists, some internationally renowned and some trying to make their mark. We will discover the history of the culture and what led to its growth in this neighbourhood. In other words, how did a slum become the centre of London's contemporary art culture?
We will pass through the delightful markets the area offers and the old brewery, which today serves as the centre of all things awesome in Brick Lane.
We will find out how the different immigration waves helped shape East London and, through stories of residents' daily lives (past and present), discover their influence on Shoreditch and London.
