Palaces, Royal houses and Royal Guard marching in unison for over 350 years. That's what people expect to see when they think about 'Classical London'. But do all these have to do with bears and pelicans?
In this tour, we'll travel through time following the Royal family. On the way we'll stroll along beautiful parks, see famous palaces and experience the iconic Changing of the Guard ceremony. We'll even get to the most famous clock in the world – Big Ben (and I'll tell you why it's not really Big Ben).
What will we see
This tour will take us through the UK's centre of government. We will see several palaces, including the famous Buckingham Palace and Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament), visit the wonderful St. James' Park, pass by Big Ben, Churchill's War rooms and Westminster Abbey, and, of course, we will see the Changing of the Guard.
Throughout the tour I will tell you about the fascinating (and sometimes crazy) history of England and the UK. How from a collection of tribes we got the world's most famous royal family and how their influence changed over the centuries.
